advanced abstraction

This series, advanced abstraction (at least half of the title is tongue in cheek), aimed to delve into the unexpected results of transforming non-figurative photographs into vector objects. The process entailed replacing the dark tones of the original photograph with pre-made vector elements using a simple script. I firmly believe that progress often stems from partially surrendering control, given the human tendency to adhere to prevailing narratives.

By adopting this approach, the creator relinquishes a portion of the image’s composition to chance, resulting in unforeseen outcomes that introduce the element of unpredictability to the final result.
