This work is a combination of photographic and graphic techniques. The photographic images with their round white shapes and frayed edges – partly due to the limitations and side effects of digital photography (as with most off my photographic work) – enter into a dialogue with the ‘hard edged’ black graphic forms of rectangles that were created by the crop of the photographic image. Like two worlds come together; the organic and the cultivated.
